5.  LightYear Compensation Plan

LIGHTYEAR INCOME POTENTIAL
A new rep in FL joined LightYear at the end of July, 2010, and had approximately 350 people watch a Saturday webcast, which led to 189 enrolling that week.  In his first six months (Aug.-Jan.), he built an organization of 6000+ reps, on pace to surpass a 7-figure income for 2011.  His Mar. 2011 checks are pictured here, totaling $52K.  Bonus amounts are NOT included in those totals.  Most importantly, he has a 5-figure monthly residual income already in place.

LightYear’s top earner, Ben Sturtevant, is 33 years old (in 2010), worked part-time in a couple other networking companies (Excel Telecom was one), topping out around $15K/mo. before joining Lightyear.  His 2009 Lightyear income was $756,000, and in April 2010 he exceeded $100,000 for the first time.  Two-thirds of that income was residual, meaning from people paying their bills, not from enrollments (new reps joining).  As of mid-2010, there were only about 60,000 reps enrolled (with 20,000 active), with revenue of about $4 million/mo.  Even now with publicly reported 2010 revenue of $52 million, the timing is still very early.  In the updated list of Top 100 Direct Sales Earners posted April, 2011 at www.businessforhome.org, Ben is listed at #98.

LightYear offered the wireless industry’s first residual income compensation plan, where distributors are rewarded for wireless volume each and every month.  Not just a one-time upfront reward, but a never-ending, always growing, “Build It Once” financial legacy.  Although there is massive money to be earned in building a team in Lightyear, if a person just wanted to market wireless and get paid on the monthly residual, they could create a solid monthly income which would eventually replace their current JOB.

And of course there’s also serious bonus money for experienced reps who want to be rewarded for rapidly rolling out a huge network.  All the details are below.

LIGHTYEAR COMPENSATION PLAN
You won’t find any other current MLM wireless competition paying residuals anywhere near ours – they are resellers, so they don’t have any margin (profit):  they’re just marking up existing prices.

It’s a simple process to reach serious money with LightYear.  Look at the $76,000 bonus pay available for reaching the top level in one year.


Senior Manager Position (start):
•  Enroll for $324.99

[OR: enroll as Manager ($74.99) and then personally sponsor 2 new Representatives, have a total of 6 Representatives and have 2 active customer points, to get promoted to Senior Manager]

Regional Manager Position (1st promotion):
•  Personally sponsor 2 new Representatives in your Senior Manager Business, have a total of 6 Representatives in your Senior Manager Business and have 5 active customer points

Vice President Position (2nd promotion):
•  Personally sponsor 8 total Representatives, have a total of 75 Representatives on your entire team and have 10 active customer points

Senior Vice President Position (3rd promotion):
•  Develop 3 Vice Presidents in your entire team, have a total of 300 Representatives on your entire team with no more than 50% counting from one leg and have 10 active customer points

Presidential Director Position (4th promotion):
•  Develop 2 Senior Vice Presidents in your entire team, have a total of 1,000 Representatives on your entire team with no more than 50% counting from one leg, have a total of $100,000 in revenue on your entire team and have 10 active customer points


Regional Manager: Reach RM in 60 days and earn a $1,000 bonus!
Qualifications:
1)  Promote to RM in 60 days
2)  Have at least $1,500 in total team revenue
3)  Maintain $1,500 in total team revenue during the 4 month payout.
Pays out $250 per month for 4 months (total of $1,000)

Vice President: Reach VP in 120 days and earn a $5,000 bonus! 
Qualifications:
1)  Promote to VP in 120 days
2)  Have at least $10,000 in total team revenue
3)  Maintain $10,000 in total team revenue during the 10 month payout.
Pays out $500 per month for ten months ($5,000 total)

Senior Vice President: Reach SVP in 180 days and earn a $20,000 bonus! 
Qualifications:
1)  Promote to SVP in 180 days
2)  Have at least $40,000 in total team revenue
3)  Maintain $40,000 in total team revenue during the 10 month payout.
Pays out $2,000 per month for ten months ($20,000 total)

Presidential Director: Reach PD in 365 days and earn a $50,000 bonus! 
Qualifications:
1)  Promote to PD in 365 days
2)  Have at least $100,000 in total team revenue
3)  Maintain $100,000 in total team revenue during the 10 month payout
Pays out $5,000 per month for ten months ($50,000 total)


Residuals
Personal Customers:  1%-10%
•  $……..0 to $1,249 in customer billing = 1% residual
•  $1,250 to $2,499 in customer billing = 4% residual
•  $2,500 to $3,749 in customer billing = 6% residual
•  $3,750 to $4,999 in customer billing = 8% residual
•  $5,000 or more…………………………………= 10% residual

Downline Residuals: 1%-4%
The company compensation plan says, “Override 8 Compressed Levels Commissions: Earn 1% to 4% on 8 compressed levels of customers in your organization.  You must be a Senior Manager or above with 10 active PCPs to receive residual on your compressed levels.”  And then the comp plan shows the following chart:
•  SM or above with 10 active PCPs = 1%
•  SM or above with 15 active PCPs and $1,000 in monthly CABs = 2%
•  SM or above with 20 active PCPs and $2,500 in monthly CABs = 3%
•  SM or above with 20 active PCPs and $4,000 in monthly CABs = 4%

LightYear Comp Residual Income Example (8 Levels)

Maximum that can be paid:

  • 10% to rep who acquired customer
  • 32% (8 levels x 4%)

In example above, $15 of a $59.99 bill is paid, which is 25%.  So 17% was left on the table.

Also note the compressed levels:  Excel Telecom did not compress levels!


LightYear pays reps every WEEK. You can recruit as many reps as you want, with a uni-level, coded bonus payout.
Q: If I recruit 5 people between now and this weekend, how much and when will I get paid? I think you said they mail a check every Friday, but is there a week or two delay in between?
A: You will make $100 per enrollment and the pay week ends Monday at midnight EST.  The checks are cut and mailed the next morning and on the east coast we have them in hand by Friday.  Once you have enrolled 2 personally and there are 6 total in your downline (you can enroll all 6 but do not have to), you will automatically be promoted to Regional Manager and you will receive a 50% pay raise to $150 per personal enrollment and $50 on the enrollments of your personally sponsored people.
