Inside this Newsletter:

  • Australia & New Zealand Can Begin Bidding November 4, 2009
  • Australian & New Zealand’s Exclusive Auction Portal Opens March 1, 2010
  • Shopping Mall with 500 Stores Opens March 1, 2010

I. Aussies & Kiwis Can Begin Bidding in the Auctions!
That’s right, you heard correctly, beginning November 4, 2009 customers and BA’s living in Australia and New Zealand will be able to begin placing their bids on us.dubli.com. We anticipate an avalanche of activity will be taking place on the auction portal, and we are ready for the impending explosive growth.

We have carefully handpicked a wide selection of very popular top brand products that will be available to the people in Australia and New Zealand.* All products available in the auctions are marked with custom-designed icons featuring the Australia’s national flag. It couldn’t be easier.

To make things even better, DubLi’’s starting price on merchandise in the Xpress auctions, even before the bidding starts is, according to our surveys, substantially lower than the best deal you can find anywhere locally in Australia or New Zealand – bar none!

If by chance one of our highly skilled staff of professional buyers lists an item that is not the absolute lowest price, then it’’s still a win-win situation for the customer, because, remember, we offer a low price guarantee! If any customer should find the same exact product locally at a lower price, then we will simply give you the difference plus 10 percent!** Now we feel that this guarantee is something that will give your customers complete peace of mind.

BA’s who reside in Australia and New Zealand will be able to actively participate in the auctions and carry their experience and excitement over to new potential customers, beginning November 4. So make sure everyone in your DubLi business knows about this important update.

Think of this exercise as being a fun way of learning about how the auction process works, and at the same time we’’d recommend stopping in the auction and grabbing yourself a great bargain. There’’s nothing like sharing a personal experience.

For instance, take a look at the PLAYSTATION 3 Slim -– it’’s the latest top of the line game console manufactured by SONY, the perfect Christmas present. The starting price of this Xpress auction is US$299, whereas the average market price in Australia and New Zealand is around US$460.

DubLi is always striving to get it right the first time, so in the beginning all Australian and New Zealand customers will be temporarily bidding through the U.S. auction portal. This way our customers can enjoy all the seamless benefits made possible through our well-proven and time-tested logistical systems, thus ensuring timely deliveries to your doorstep. When DubLi’’s global platform is fully implemented on March 1, 2010, then we will have in place a local shipping facility within Australia which all consumer deliveries will originate from. Please remember this is only a temporary situation until we unveil the Australian and New Zealand portal.

Please note that the dollar amounts displayed in the auctions are indeed U.S. Dollars and not Australian or New Zealand Dollars.

Are there any downsides? Not really. Let’s take our PLAYSTATION 3 Slim. On top of your purchase price you will have to pay the cost for shipping. The initial shipping rates, of course, are going to be higher than if the product was purchased and shipped within the borders of Australia and New Zealand. However, allow us to illustrate a possible “worst case” scenario. Let’’s assume you decide to purchase the PLAYSTATION 3 Slim through DubLi’’s Xpress auction at the very beginning of the auction when the item first appears. If you were to include the cost of shipping, the total purchase price out the door would be around US$382. Compare that to the same PLAYSTATION 3 Slim being sold in Australia, there is still an overall net savings of 17%.

Australia Tax
There is no tax (GST) on products purchased from the USA to Australia, if the amount of the purchase is under AUD$1,000. It’s very important to understand this information and pass it on to your BA’s and customers.

New Zealand Tax
There is tax (GST) on almost all products purchased and imported to New Zealand. We kindly request that you read the rules for importing goods to New Zealand.
Please note that there is tax on freight as well.

II. Australia & New Zealand’s Auctions Portal Opens March 1, 2010
We are very excited to announce the opening of DubLi’s new global auction portal, on March 1, 2010, which is specifically designed for our customers and BA’s who reside in Australia and New Zealand. Our objective initially is to showcase a minimum of 100-120 of the hottest selling, most in-demand consumer products and services available, that are exclusive to Australian and New Zealand consumers. The prices displayed for each of the products available in the auction will be displayed in the native currencies for each country.

Customers will still have the option of placing bids on items that are featured on DubLi’’s global portal, but they will also be able to place bids on products and services that are household name brands within their country.

III. Shopping Mall with 500 Stores Open March 1, 2010
At the same time, we launch the exclusive auction portal for Australia and New Zealand, we will also be launching one of the largest online shopping malls which will be almost exactly like the one we have on DubLi’’s USA portal. Initially, the shopping mall will feature 500 of Australia’’s best retailers, restaurants, and discount store chains. If the retailer has locations in New Zealand, then our fellow Kiwis will be able to shop in the mall as well and save a ton of money. Since we opened the mall in North America, it has become one of the most popular destinations with our customers and BA’s alike.

Here are just a few of the many benefits available for shoppers in DubLi’’s New Mall:

  • Earn: up to 30% in reward rebates
  • Save: up to 60% in discounts from participating merchants listed in our mall.
  • Spend or Save: all the reward points collected by a registered customer can either be spent with other merchants in the mall, or you have the option of withdrawing the amount in cash. It’’s your money!
  • Earn Commissions: imagine being able to earn a small percentage every time one of your customers goes into the mall and makes a purchase of any kind; buys a gift card, or dines in one of the many great restaurants offered? It’’s the easiest money you will ever make.

We would like to congratulate the entire organization of BA’s who have worked so hard to lay the groundwork that has helped us to successfully launch in the markets of Australia and New Zealand. We at DubLi truly appreciate your efforts and professionalism, and we look forward to serving you well, now and in the future.

Best Regards
